Lanzarote is the part of Canary Island is a popular tourist destination of Spain.  Lanzarote is famous for its weird and eerie volcanic terrain, amazing beaches and a clement climate. You can enjoy holiday all around the year here.  Lanzarote is situated on the same latitude line as Bahamas.

Lanzarote enjoy a semi tropical climate and hence you can enjoy a great weekend here in winters too. This island is owned by Spain since 1400.

Due to its great climatic nature it is a great tourist spot all over the year.  You can easily explore the tourist attractions here in Lanzarote.  Although it is a small island but the roads are well sign posted.

You can also hire cars in Lanzarote easily. Most popular tourist attraction is Timanfaya Volcano Park. You can also visit Jameos del Agua which is a old lava tunnel. Now a day it is used as concert hall. There are many great towns and villages here.
